Dumela and welcome to
Botswana!
I
t is that time of year again where travelling exhibition
Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) goes beyond South
Africa’s border for the Botswana tour.
MTE is excited to return to Botswana for three fantastic shows
across the country’s major mining and industrial areas, which
take place from 8 to 12 April 2019.
The travelling exhibition will kick-start the tour in Letlhakane
with the first show on 8 April at the Thakadu hotel from 13:00
to 17:00. As Letlhakane is surrounded by diamond mines, this
show is tailored for visitors from diamond mines.
Next the MTE team heads to Palapye on 10 April 2019 and will
set up at Kgaswe Primary School from 12:00 to 17:00. Palapye
is home to various coal mines and the Morupule Power
Station and therefore visitors can look forward to seeing
suppliers involved in coal operations and power supply.
The Botswana tour will end in Jwaneng at Jwaneng Rugby
Club on 12 April 2019 between 12:00 and 16:00. Like
Letlhakane, visitors can expect to see lots of diamond mine
suppliers because the town is home to Jwaneng Diamond
Mine.
Although most of the Botswana shows appeal mostly to
visitors in the coal and diamond operations, visitors outside
of these industries are also encouraged to visit the show as
