The first exhibition will take place on 24 October 2017 in Malelane at the RCL Foods Rugby Club, from 11:00 to 16:30. Malelane is a small farming town situated just outside the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga province and agriculture – in particular sugar – is considered the region’s main economy. As a result, the town is the centre of the sugar- growing industry in Mpumalanga. In addition to sugar, the town is also home to numerous farms that produce a variety of crops including subtropical fruit and winter vegetables. Although this is not a mining exhibition, visitors and exhibitors can be assured that the same hard work to achieve high impact exhibitions for mining expos, has also been invested in this expo. The expo is expected to attract visitors from RCL Foods (Malelane Sugar mill) and Molatek plant. Visitors from local industries and the agricultural sector are also expected to attend. The MTE team will then move onto Barberton and travel to Hoërskool Barberton on 26 October. This venue will be alive with lots of activity as the MTE Barberton expo gets underway opening its doors from 13:00 to 17:00. The town is also situated in Mpumalanga and is named after Graham Hoare Barber, who discovered a rich gold-bearing reef in the area. Barberton has since become renowned as a For those who are not familiar with MTE, this travelling exhibition company has been running for over two decades, providing a unique platform for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining and industrial equipment to showcase their goods to a community hungry for new technology, services and information – right on its doorstep.
