Welcome to Cullinan!
Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) is back and ready to
start 2018 with a bang! To kick off the new year, MTE will host
its first show in Cullinan.
Cullinan is a new addition to MTE’s 2018 travelling
exhibition calendar as MTE saw the need to cater for the
diamond mining industry. The show will take place at the
Cullinan Community Sports Centre from 13:00 to 17:00
on 25 January 2018.
Situated 30km east of Pretoria in Gauteng, South Africa,
Cullinan is a small town located along the diamond route,
and is named after diamond magnate Sir Thomas Cullinan. In
1905, the largest rough gem diamond – at 3 106 carats – was
found in Cullinan and its discovery put Cullinan mine on the
global map as a renowned source of large, high quality gem
diamonds. The mine has unearthed type II stones and is a
source of very rare blue diamonds.
MTE has especially customised this exhibition to ensure it
achieves high impact for both visitors and exhibitors from the
diamond mining industry. The MTE team has worked tirelessly
to put together a successful exhibition that will benefit
both parties.
At this exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to hold
one-on-one interactions with exhibitors to get as much
information as possible on a particular product or service on
display at the show. The MTE exhibition is a perfect platform
for exhibitors who also have an opportunity to launch
products or services of their choice to the market, or even
promote their existing products or services. MTE ultimately
aims to bring buyer and supplier together at a mutual location.
For those who are not familiar with MTE, this travelling
exhibition company has been running for over two decades,
providing a unique platform for suppliers of top-of-the-line
mining and industrial equipment to showcase their goods
to a community hungry for new technology, services and
information – right on its doorstep.
We trust the expo will be a rewarding experience – whether
you are visiting or exhibiting. However, we are always open to

accommodating for you and your business.
