A MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISERS
Welcome to Limpopo!
On 23 and 25 of May 2017 is Limpopo’s turn to experience
exhibitions organised by Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE). The MTE team will
be in Bokoni and Modikwa to provide a networking platform for suppliers and people
in the platinum mining industry.
Situated on the north-eastern parts of the Limpopo
province, Bokoni Platinum Mine is mainly a source
of Merensky Reef and UG2 Reef production. Bokoni
is the only eastern limb operation with significant
Merensky production, high in platinum value with
a 2:1 platinum: palladium ratio and a high UG2
reserve grade of 5.36g/t 4E. Bokoni Platinum Mine
is expected to visit the show on 23 May 2017.
Modikwa Platinum Mine is found along
the border of the Limpopo and Mpumalanga
provinces. Mining operations at Modikwa take
place in an underground mine that is 450m deep,
with three decline shafts and a concentrator.
The different metals mined at Modikwa include
platinum, gold, PGMs and nickel among others.
Modikwa Platinum Mine is expected to visit the
show on 25 May.
For those who are not familiar with MTE, this
travelling exhibitions company has been running
for over two decades, providing a unique platform
for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining and
industrial equipment to showcase their goods to
a community hungry for new technology, services
and information – right on its doorstep.
We trust the expo will be a rewarding
experience – whether you are visiting or exhibiting.
However, we are always open to suggestions as
to how we can make future expos even more
accommodating for you and your business.
