MTE Catalogues Arandis & Walvis Bay 2017 | Page 5

A MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISERS
The Walvis Bay show is a one-day industrial exhibition, incorporating all the industries around Namibia’ s largest commercial port. Strategically, located half way down the coast of Namibia, with direct access to principal shipping routes, Walvis Bay is a natural gateway for international trade.
Industry in the area includes port, fish, engineering, civil, rail, infrastructure, construction as well as a mall that is in the pipeline. This is also the port for all land-locked countries around Namibia.
This is MTE’ s third exhibition in the area, and the team has put a lot of effort into making sure it is a successful one. Visitors exhibitors can expect include Namport, China Harbour Engineering Company Limited, Walvis Bay Municipality, Namibian fishery industry, NamPower, Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Walvis Bay Corridor Group, salt mining companies as well as local industry.
For those who are not familiar with MTE, this travelling exhibitions company has been running for over two decades, providing a unique platform for suppliers of topof-the-line mining and industrial equipment to showcase their goods to a community hungry for new technology, services and information – right on its doorstep.
We trust the expo will be a rewarding experience – whether you are visiting or exhibiting. However, we are always open to suggestions as to how we can make future expos even more accommodating for you and your business.
