MTE moves east to Barberton and Ngodwana in December
The fourth quarter will end on a high note for Mining and Technical Exhibitions ( MTE ), as the team moves east for the last 2 shows of yet another extraordinary year . MTE ’ s Barberton Mining & Industrial Exhibition and Sappi Ngodwana Paper & Pulp Exhibition , will run on 7 and 9 December 2021 respectively . Both of these shows , though smaller in scale , always pack a big punch , as they are intimate , impactful and well supported by both communities eager to do business .
Safety is MTE ’ s primary concern and Covid-19 protocols will be observed while MTE does what they do best . As a specialist travelling exhibition company , MTE has been running high impact expos for over 27 years , providing a unique platform for suppliers of top-of-the-line industrial equipment to showcase their innovations to a community hungry for new technology , services and information – right on its doorstep .
MTE has tailored the Barberton show to ‘ talk to ’ the specific gold mining industry requirements in this area . MTE will arrive at the Ngodwana Mill on the 9 December . This show is a great example of MTE ’ s versatility and ability to customise their exhibitions to different industries . The Ngodwana Mill has been in operation since 1966 and is situated amidst Sappi ’ s own commercial forestry operations . The mill produces 320 000 tons of paper pulp for own consumption , 255 000 tonnes of dissolving pulp and 380 000 tonnes of paper ( newsprint and kraft linerboard used for packaging ) per annum . The expo will benefit visitors from the mill as well as those from surrounding local industries .
