It has been ‘ full steam ahead ’ for Mining and Technical Exhibitions ( MTE ) ever since government opened up gatherings to 2000 outdoors after the recent lock-down in South Africa . MTE has already completed 3 successful high impact shows since , and the team is ready to wow exhibitors and visitors alike at the Lephalale Mining & Industrial Exhibition , incorporating Power Stations on 21 October 2021 at the Mogol Club .
Safety is MTE ’ s primary concern and Covid-19 protocols will be observed while MTE does what they do best . As a specialist travelling exhibition company , MTE has been running high impact expos for over 27 years , providing a unique platform for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining and industrial equipment to showcase their innovations to a community hungry for new technology , services and information – right on its doorstep .

MTE returns to Lephalale each year as the area is rich in coal reserves and is often touted as the ‘ the future of power generation in South Africa ’. It is home to the Grootegeluk Coal Mine and the Matimba and Medupi Power Stations , making it an ideal location for an MTE expo showcasing the latest solutions geared for this industry .
The show will bring both suppliers and industry operators to the coalface of industry innovation . The industry is hungry for solutions in a Covid-19 ravaged economy where face-to-face meetings have been made more difficult during lockdowns . MTE has researched the needs of the operations in the area and has carefully sourced suppliers to meet these needs , so the show , as always , promises to offer solutions to all parties serious about doing business in the area .
