MTE returns to Emalahleni
Emalahleni , or ‘ place of coal ’ – a mineral that has become synonymous with the town – will be home to MTE ’ s Emalahleni Mining and Industrial Expo .
Quality coal seams have led to the establishment of over 22 collieries in the municipal district . In addition , with the supply of coal nearby , there are a number of power stations that rely on the nearby mines to supply them with the required coal for power generation .
As such , the Emalahleni expo is customised for the coal mining and power generation industries which gives coal suppliers an opportunity to exhibit their latest products and services to the coal mining and related industries .

The MTE team relays this information back to the market by contacting suppliers named by the mines .
