Cross Country athletes improved over the season setting "PRs", Personal Records as the season progressed. At the EMO Conference meet Senior Devin Neff led all male runners to earn a 1st place finish and 1st Team EMO Honors, Freshman Emma Ross, finished 12th among female runners and earned 2nd Team All-Conference Honors. Zoe Miller, Freshman, finished 14th and earned Honorable Mention All-Conference Honors.
During the District Meet, Devin Neff dominated the field of male athletes and ran to 1st place by distancing himself by 45 seconds in front of the second place finisher. Devin will represent Mark Twain at the State Championship on Saturday, November 4th. Our school will provide a band led send off on Friday.
The Mark Twain Football Team played for the annual Farmer's Cup against Van-Far on Friday, October 6th. The Tigers prevailed and will keep the trophy in our award case for another year. Way to go Tigers! Post season honors have gone to EMO 1st Team: Aiden Epperson, Offensive and Defensive Line, Lincoln Talbott, Defensive Back and EMO 2nd Team: Jace Barton, Runningback, Avery Epperson, Linebacker and Conner Grossmann, Defensive Back
Softball faced tough competition through the season. Two opponents ended up earning State Championships in Class 1 and Class 2. Seniors and their parents were recognized on September 21st. McKenzie Lathrom was honored with post season honors of 2nd Team EMO Conference and 2nd Team All-District.
