Healthy Outcomes : Preventative Education
A Coalition has been developed to bring together all of the resources to provide information, presentations, resources, and support for the Youth of Ralls County. The organization involves the Health Department, law enforcement, the ministerial alliance, parents, administration and counselors from Ralls County R-II and civic leaders who are both elected and appointed.
While the HOPE Coalition is in the early stages, the culmination of this support team has already reached the youth of Ralls County through an anti-bullying presentation from the nationally known Higher Impact Entertainment. The energetic group presented to all grade levels of students in mid-October.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, November 20th. An application for grant funding is being developed along with a mission statement for the group. If you would be interested in serving a role in this community based group in which supporting the Youth of Ralls County is the focus, please let us know.
