School of Graduate Studies Financial Aid Awards
Key Requirements
Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in order to receive any form of financial assistance including the tuition
scholarship and gradate assistantship. Failure to maintain the appropriate GPA will result in forfeiture of all
financial assistance. When this occurs, students will need to reapply for financial assistance. No monies are held for
students while they work to restore their good academic standing.
Tuition Scholarships
Unemployed Student Guidelines
Students who are unemployed may receive a tuition scholarship that covers up to nine (9) credits.
Tuition scholarships only cover expenses related to tuition. Students are responsible for paying all required
fees.
Fees must be paid during the registration period, or the Bursar’s Office reserves the right to drop courses
and grades from the students’ records.
Students who receive the Graduate Tuition Assistance Award are not allowed to be gainfully employed
outside of the university.
