Who Ya Gonna Call?
Marne & Dave Lemke“ Who Ya Gonna Call” Coordinators Many of us enjoy taking a road trip to other car shows across the country. Some of us travel 200 miles to go to a show, and others may travel 2,000 miles and more. Sometimes, unfortunately, we may encounter a little bad luck with our street rods breaking down. That’ s where MSRA’ s“ Who Ya Gonna Call” comes in very handy.“ Who Ya Gonna Call” is made up of strictly MSRA volunteers from coast to coast who are willing to come to your aid. They can either help repair your vehicle, give directions to an auto shop or just answer a question.
We have over 500 volunteers on our“ Who Ya Gonna Call” list, and we are always looking for more volunteers. The“ Who Ya Gonna Call” gives you peace of mind that in the event something should happen to your vehicle, a fellow Street Rodder is there to help you. If you would like to volunteer, please stop by and sign up. Come check out our booth here at the MSRA’ s“ Back to the 50’ s Weekend” located at the Northeast corner of the Randall and Underwood intersection. We’ ll be there Friday & Saturday, 7 a. m.- 4 p. m., and Sunday, 7 a. m.- 10 a. m.
Pop Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House
Let’ s Pull Together for a Worthy Cause!
Do you or anyone you know find yourself with a surplus of pop tabs and unsure of what to do with them? Well, we’ ve got just the solution for you! At the MSRA Back to the 50’ s Weekend, we invite you to bring your pop tabs to the Pop Tab Tent located just south of Cosgrove and Randall.
Last year, our collective efforts yielded over a TON of pop tabs, and this year, our goal is to surpass that milestone! Simply drop them off at the Pop Tab Tent, where our volunteers will be on hand to weigh them and record your name and / or car club for the Contributor List in the LineChaser.
Each tab you pop plays a crucial role in supporting families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their child undergoes treatment for a serious illness. By participating in this initiative, we can all show our appreciation for the invaluable work done by the Ronald McDonald House. LET’ S PULL THOSE TABS!
Thank you – we hope your weekend is safe and filled with great memories!
