There is no doubt in my mind that if Heroic Food was not part of my life, I would not be farming full time today. During the summer of 2016 I attended Heroic Food’s very first workshop on high tunnel construction at their original incubator farm in Hudson, NY. At this point in my life my wife and I were going through a tough time where the career choices had chosen for ourselves were leading us and we were very unhappy.

He joined the Army to start a military career and travel the world. Upon his separation date from the military, he decided to enroll in the Home Builders Institute (HBI) program
He learned about Carpentry, obtained a Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate of Training and an OSHA-10 card all at no cost to him or the DoD. McDaniel has a passion for the construction industry and wanted to increase his knowledge in this field. McDaniel stated that he signed up for the class to increase his knowledge in the carpentry field.
