The Industry 4.0 Academy program is an initiative to assist transitioning Military Service Members into cutting-edge robotics and manufacturing jobs. Starting with the existing skills Service Members gained while in service, we provide supplemental training as necessary to meet industry requirements. This benefits participating employers by increasing the number of available, qualified, and capable individuals ready for work in cutting-edge careers. Service Members connect to training through the SkillBridge site, and then our Industry 4.0 Academy team connects them with industry partners for interview and hire. We then connect pre-trained Service Members with our industry partners who are hiring.
We are a national consortium of partners and experts in Industry 4.0, piloting in Dallas, Texas with the educational partner Dallas College and the DoD SkillBridge program. This pilot program is funded with a grant from the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Institute.
