I also followed her recommendation to take 2 online classes targeted towards Resume Building and Assessment. Both went great, and I had a completed resume with appropriate format at the end of the class! Mrs. Henderson also recommended cover letter resources, updating my resume through the site, and helped me enhance my online profile through a self-paced LinkedIn course. I had a better understanding of the social media platforms purpose, increased connections, and professionalized its look and usage for myself.
Results:
The US Postal Service hired me! Guidance on stress-free job search, resume building and tailoring, along with introductions to resources such as LinkedIn and the MSCCN, provided a structured path to reach my goal!
