September 19-21, Fort Hood, Texas
T2TL Program Manager Sandy Artman attended the Fort Hood MEGA Hiring Event with recruiting representatives from SWIFT Transportation. To learn more about SWIFT oportunities, see the "In the Spotlight" Feature on the inside cover of this edition. CASY & MSCCN are proud to partner with SWIFT Transportation to put Veterans into jobs!
September 22, Bordentown, New Jersey
Employment Specialist Karen Santiano Francis attended SpouseTalks. Here's what she had to say:
"The New Jersey National Guard Armory and Family Support Center in Bordentown was hopping! Homefront United Network (HUN) and AUSA presented SPOUSE TALKS.
This interactive experience bought together groups that work with Guard families to present their programs. The old saying, "Spouses don’t wear rank" was expanded to "Spouses don’t wear branch" – emphasizing that all Guard/Reserve families need to help out each other.
I was proud to represent MSCCN – especially when I heard from other participants that their Employment Specialist at MSCCN had been a great help."
