In addition to the board meetings, CASY & MSCCN hosted their Job Talk, where Deb brought her unique and unabashed style and message to military spouses and Veterans.
The CASY Team also had the chance to participate in the Onward to Opportunity Jacksonville class, where Deb presented on their Employment Panel.
Deb said of the event, ""It was such a pleasure to participate on the employer panel for JAX 020 class on April 27. Patty Piazza, Program Manager, 020 JAX, is amazing and so are the students, who are Transitioning Military, Veterans and Military Spouses. We've been invited back to present our program to another JAX 020 class, and we're honored by the additional invite."
"Many years ago, I coined the term "Skill-Surge" in the jobs workers are assigned to perform. 020 is on the same wave length when training their students to build (and highlight) their skill sets which attract recruiters and hiring managers."
