Being a student is one experience we all share, even if our schooling was different. Whether you went to school in America or another country, at some point, I bet, teachers talked about different kinds of writing.

I’m particularly interested in your knowledge of two types of writing—

persuasive and informative.

In case your teachers didn’t cover those two types, here they are:

Informative writing accurately and objectively conveys information to an audience.

Persuasive writing conveys information in order to persuade the audience to have a certain opinion or take a specific action.
