This meeting was special in many ways to the organizations and our Board of Directors. CASY has partnered with Swift Transportation under their Troops to Transportation & Logistics (T2TL) campaign to educate service members and veterans on opportunities in the transportation and logistics industries.

Swift has many great opportunities for military and veterans and provides veterans and still serving National Guard & Reservists the opportunity to work and identify a future line of succession within the company. In addition to the opportunity to showcase the T2TL plan for 2016, this meeting also gave CASY the perfect venue to connect the Arizona National Guard—which has a large number of transportation and logistics positions— and Swift Transportation. Nurturing this relationship is a win-win for everyone involved.

During the CASY meeting, Mr. Moyes joined the Board and discussed growth opportunities for 2017. National Guard Bureau representatives attended the National Guard Employment Network (NGEN) program brief. T2TL and NGEN, two big CASY programs, will see exponential growth in the next few years—growth that brings about positive opportunities for those we serve. While

covering NGEN growth and plans for 2016, representatives from the AZ National Guard and National Guard Bureau presented CASY & MSCCN with the National Guard Minuteman Award for “Unwavering Support and Dedication to the Soldiers & Families of the National Guard.”
