Veteran employment is such a buzzword these days, and we at CASY are grateful for the focus on Veterans’ needs. However, Veteran unemployment is a complex issue that cannot be solved simply through a company’s desire to hire Veterans.
Often, Veterans will need education or licensing to increase marketability and stand out to employers who want to hire Veterans. Through our partnership with IBM,
CASY has focused on the analytics industry and a certification that we believe can make Veterans more attractive to employers in the industry.

In 2016, IBM and CASY have increased training opportunities to a total of 14 opportunities for the IBM i2 across the United States. This opportunity comes at no-cost for the veteran attendee and is delivered through a generous grant from IBM.
