What do you hope to accomplish in 2015 and beyond?

My 2015 goal is to continue to write new resources for Veterans and military spouses to use in their job search.

For me success is living joyfully. I find joy in helping others, seeing what I have accomplished, and enjoying the people in my life. I also find great joy in mentoring others and seeing their dreams come true. Work done whistling is still done!

How do you push through hard times and challenges?

I reflect--Fix what I can, and try to let go of what I can’t fix. I like to do active things when I can’t think of an immediate solution.

My three favorites are to exercise (at the gym or playing with my kids), garden, and or cook. We have a limited amount of time in each day, so I try to just do what I can each day to make the world a better place…even if it is my one little small part.

How do you define success? Please tell us about one success of which you are particularly proud.

I hope to change the way Veterans build their career materials to shorten the amount of time spent unemployed. I want to continue to clear up the confusing and often conflicting information that is available on the internet.

The specific focus of employment strategies to use based on different candidate types, and career intentions, should help Veterans focus on techniques designed for their career needs.
