The MSEJ Writers Guild provides military affiliates with experience and training in writing and publishing as well as an outlet through which to publish their work . The Writers Guild achieves this mission through training , mentorship , and participation in the publication of the MSEJ .
Writers Guild participants will gain knowledge of nonprofit publishing , work on their writing skills and style , and may publish their work in a national , monthly publication . Participants who successfully complete the program may be asked to serve as volunteer writers for the MSEJ .
