A long-time partner of CASY & MSCCN, Swift Transportation continued its commitment to military and Veteran communities in 2016. Headquartered in Phoenix, AZ with terminals and schools throughout the US, Swift is a leader in the transportation and logistics community.
Swift has hired thousands of Veterans, military members, and spouses through CASY’s Troops 2 Transportation and Logistics (T2TL) Program. Run by COL (R) Sanford (Sandy) Artman, T2TL connects Veterans
and military family members with transportation and logistics jobs.
T2TL isn’t only about driving a truck; it's also about the logistics involved in a $400 trillion global transportation industry that ranges from small, local companies to national and international fleet operations. At SWIFT, there are opportunities located at the Corporate Offices and Terminals alike; including positions like Analysts, IT, Customer Service, Mechanics, Safety, Scheduling, CDL Instructors, Academy Supervisors and many other opportunities.
SWIFT provides training for our Military Veterans and their Spouses. They provide full scholarships for Veterans to attend a Swift Academy, as well as discounted tuition to Selective Reserves and National Guard. Upon completion of Swift Academy, Swift ensures driver preparedness through their Driver Mentor program, which pairs new drivers with experienced drivers who provide additional guidance and training.
