1.Start with your goal in mind. Plan backwards to ensure you are giving yourself time to get a job. For example, if you want to start a new job in the last week of January, count backwards 12 weeks on the calendar… so that would mean that you should have applications going out starting November 4th of 2019.
2.Less competition= fewer applications. Most job seekers take the holidays off, and most companies start filling positions that are expected to start in January. Less competition means that you can scale back your applications and still maintain an effective job search.
3.Networking is job searching. ENJOY and take advantage of holiday events by meeting new people and letting them know your job search plans. Keep it simple and take advantage of ONE of the best parts of the holiday, getting together with family and friends.
