Tips for Succeeding in
School and Training
Be a Member of Your Learning Community.
Get involved! Outside activities and organizations are a great way to meet other students (network) and professors (network and recommendation letters) and expand your knowledge and learning.
Align Your Learning with Your Long Term Goals.
Both in classes where you take on and select specific projects and when selecting classes--including electives, majors, and minors (and internships)--make sure to connect your learning with what you hope to do some day.
It's not enough to earn additional degrees, certifications, and skill sets. Nowadays, graduates have to be the best to stand out. Strategizing each semester creates successful semesters, which lead to a successful overall academic career and professional future!
Take the steps to be the student you want to be so that you can become the professional you hope to be.
