As a military spouse, I was a stay at home mom for 10 years. When I decided my kids were old enough where I could return to work, I was referred to MSCCN after having no luck.
I found that during the 10 years that I was not working, I was also becoming out of date career wise with my skills. MSCCN has a wonderful program that was designed for spouses like me who needed to update their career skills by volunteering with CASY &MSCCN.
I found that I loved what I was doing as a volunteer and eventually transitioned to working for CASY & MSCCN.
