Pillars of Ms. Abilities America, Inc.
A new feature of this year is the pillars of the organization. Each pillar
is being dedicated to someone who has represented the pillar well, and
deserves to have the pillar named after them. The individual does not
have to have disabilities, but must be an advocate for the many
individuals who do have disabilities. The individual does not have to be
a part of the organization to represent the pillar.
Ms. Abilities Leadership is for the individual who happens to lead in a positive manner. This
individual thinks outside of the box to discover new ways in which they can help lead into the
future. This award is in honor of our founder Elizabeth Reeve. Elizabeth was involved in Ms.
Wheelchair Oklahoma (America) (titleholder in 2008-2009 and was the state coordinator in
2008-2010. She was also involved in Ms. Wheelchair Oklahoma (USA) 2010-2011. She loved
being in the two pageants, but she started to feel a need for something a little different. She
wanted to include all individuals who happened to have a disability of any type, individuals who
happen to be between the ages of 5 to 110, and of either gender. She set out to create what is
now known as Ms. Abilities America, Inc.
Elizabeth is the Ms. Integrity Beauty Inspirational Woman 2011-2013. She is currently a student
at Grand Canyon University, working on her EdD in Educational leadership:Operations
Management. She has her masters in Special Education, and two bachelors degrees (History and
Business). She has written several books. Her main interest is Service Dogs.
