Attention FilmMakers

Proper Planning Prevent Bad Performance

One thing that we as filmmakers do tend to forget is the business aspect to filmmaking. It is a business and you as the creator need to develop a plan from the start to the finish. Everything must be mapped out this will prevent loss. If you’re like me then you don't have the millions of dollars to dump into a project every cent is accounted for and it should be. It is a business after all and how do you expect to make it to the big leagues if you can manage is that not what filmmaking is also about? Managing as well as creating, if you have done films in the past then you know this is true. Last thing don't overdo it complete your project before going on to another of your own. Helping other people with their stuff is fine but if you have a deadline for your film then make sure that you can meet your deadline it is not there responsibility to remind you to finish your own film.
