A day in my life
as a Hult student
Hi, I’m Diederick ter Kulve. I’m from the Netherlands
and studying for my Masters in International Business
at Hult London. I’m a member of the Hult Students’
Association and my interests include running, meeting
new people, and data analytics. This is what my typical
day looks like here at Hult...
Running is a great way to discover
London—and running in the morning
really energizes me for the day ahead.
Everyone in London has something to
do and somewhere to go. The streets
are constantly buzzing with activity.
Coming from an engineering background, I needed
a whole new skillset. I’ve developed a structured
approach to strategy and mastered key accounting
metrics as well as cross-cultural collaboration.
Diederick’s typical day
7:00 AM 9:00 AM 10:20 AM 12
Start the day with a run.
Then cycle to campus
where I read the news with
a coffee before class. Class begins and today we’re
building on how to give and
receive constructive feedback. 20-minute break: head to
the fourth floor to grab a
snack from the coffee
station and prepare
questions for our upcoming
corporate guest speaker. Time for lunch. Most of us
go to the world food market
nearby. Korean, Spanish,
Middle Eastern—the
options are endless.
