Since the age of 16, Samantha has been working with makeup.
Every school dance, party, and girls night she was dolling up all of her
girlfriends for fun. She started on prom clients while she still had a year
left of high school herself. She caught a glimpse of what a Makeup Artist
can do for someone. The feeling of helping someone grow their confidence
with the touch of a soft brush and a pigment of colour was contagious to
her. She has focused on that aspect of Makeup Artistry for the past 6 years
and built herself the beginning of some amazing businesses from that.

At the age of 18, Sammi was introduced to a line of products, including
a prestige cosmetics line, formulated in Switzerland. The products are
botanically-based, certified vegan, free of chemicals and cheap fillers.
After trying the cosmetics on a friend and herself she saw an incomparable
quality and performance. She fell in love with the company and started a
business as a distributor for Arbonne International and has built a global
business over the past 4 years. She gets to help people feel that inner
beauty shine through with this business every day and she loves it!

Samantha and her sister are best friends and are both professional
Makeup Artists. Last year they decided to open a location of Canada’s
Top Private Makeup Academy, Paramita. They attended the flagship
location in Toronto a few years ago but the sisters opened up
Paramita Academy of Makeup - Ottawa in December 2012. They
absolutely love watching their students improved drastically everyday
throughout the Bootcamp! They do the course in just one week with small
classes and two teachers. Students are often amazed at their final result
and what they are able to create. That is Sammi’s favorite part about it!

Sammi has big dreams and big goals and she is working hard to
make them happen. She has a YouTube channel called “The Lovestyle
Guide” where does makeup tutorials. She hopes to reach millions and
help more people bring out their natural beauty and confidence. She
is following her passion and always excited about new opportunities!
