Random Acts Of Kindness
Random Acts Of Kindness
How and why was the RAK movement created? What is the sole
purpose of RAK?
The RAK movement was created to spread kindness and love in the
world in hopes of inspiring others to do the same and creating a ripple
effect of positivity. Its sole purpose is just to offer kindness and uplift each
other to make our experiences in life better for us all.
Can anyone join or is by invite only?
Absolutely anyone can join and is encouraged to join. If you don’t
think you have time to join the organized events then we should all practice
daily Random Acts of Kindness wherever we are because those little
acts of kindness can have a major ripple effect of positivity and we all know
how much this is needed in the world.

Random Acts Of Kindness
How did you go about finding out about the RAK movement
and why did you join?
I found out about the RAK movement just by hearing stories of people
doing really nice things for strangers and hearing the effects that have
come from it. Its effects are similar to those of “pay it forward” because when
people witness such selfless acts, they often become inspired to show someone
the same kindness that was shown to them. There’s a really cool true story
that my friend told me about that I keep as an example of the ripple effect
that comes from RAK. She worked at Starbucks drive through, and one day
there was a man who wanted to pay for the car behind him. My friend warned
him that the order was quite large, and the man still wanted to proceed
with this random act of kindness. When the car behind pulled up, they were
so overwhelmed with the act of kindness that they decided to continue and
pay for the car behind them. When the car behind them pulled up, they had
the same feelings and paid for the car behind them. Needless to say, the ripple
effect continued for almost two hours. This ripple effect became possible
because the first made took initiative to make the first act of kindness and
inspired others to do the same. That one man changed the days of so many
people and allowed for kindness and love to be shared. The RAK movement is about
being the first person to pay it forward and to spread kindness. Our club
is a group of individuals who come together to have fun and spread
kindness. The truth is that when we give, we really receive. Every time we
get together for an event and we see that we have made many people
smile and we have connected with so many people, we feel so much
joy and it is as though our hearts grow and we feel a sense of inner
peace. As much as the RAK movement starts a ripple effect, it also
helps those committing the acts of kindne
