Mount Carmel Foundation Annual Report Spring 2016 | Page 2

A NEWSLETTER FOR FRIENDS OF THE MOUNT CARMEL FOUNDATION | SPRING 2016 Message from the Foundation Board Chair Dear Foundation Friends, There are many reasons why people get involved with non-profit work. The reasons I chose to get involved with Mount Carmel a number of years ago are the programs that care for the underserved, help future nurses receive degrees and care for people with cancer. I could go on and on, and you will hear more about why Foundation Board members got involved with our work later in this issue. But, as the new Foundation Board Chair, I would love to hear why you decided to become a part of the Foundation. Was it a program or a person? A success story? A personal experience? Whatever it might have been, I’d very much like to hear about it. You can email me at [email protected] to share your story, and I’d like nothing better than to have my inbox flooded with your stories about this great organization. I’d also like to hear how you think we’re doing at the Foundation. Are we keeping you abreast of all the programs? Is there more you’d like to learn and know? I’m very open to your feedback, so please share your thoughts on how we can serve you better. Without you we simply can’t continue to fund the great programs we have created and provide support to this incredible community. Thanks so much for your willingness to share. Here’s to a great year, and thank you for being a part of the Foundation. We are truly blessed to have you on our side.
