April 20 Genealogy Workshop : “ Successful Collateral and Cluster Searching ” Moultrie Public Library 10:30-11:30 a . m . The “ genealogy guy ” Thomas MacEntee is back to teach how researching those in-laws , “ shirt-tail cousins ” and others who may not be a direct-line ancestor as well as “ friends , neighbors , and associates ” can help you break down your genealogy research brick walls .
MacEntee will be present virtually at this in-person event , and participants will have the opportunity to ask him questions . Registration begins April 1 . It is not required but appreciated . May 11 2024 Fishing Derby Magnolia Pond , 1 Magnolia Lane , across from Walmart 8-11 a . m . Children age 15 and under will fish for free at Magnolia Pond . Prizes will be awarded . May 28-31 United Way “ World of Art- Portunities ” Summer Camp The Arts Center of Moultrie , 401 Seventh Ave . S . W . 8 a . m . -5 p . m . Eight themed 1-week camp options for rising 3rd grade through rising 6th grade students , sponsored by United Way of Colquitt County . $ 90 for the first child ; $ 80 for additional sibling or additional weeks .

June 3-July 22 Moultrie Master Chorale Interested singers can join the Moultrie Master Chorale . Rehearsals are on 7-9 p . m . on Mondays beginning June 3 at The Arts Center of Moultrie , 401 Seventh Ave . S . W .
The chorale is open to adults and to 10-15 high school students . Fee is $ 65 . Placement auditions will be held at 6:30 p . m . on June 3 , before the first session .
