COOKING + MATH = FUN LEARNING !! Mrs . Thompson ’ s 5th grade Enrichment students have been working on converting fractions into equivalent fractions , simplifying fractions , adding / subtracting , and multiplying / dividingfractions & whole numbers . In this photo , theyare using measuring utensils forthem to actually measure and mix the recipe in order to make enough cookies for the entire 5th grade and a few others around the school .
