GEAR students were treated to a special Valentines Day celebration for lunch . The tables were decorated with table clothes and decorations to allow students to practice their restaurant manners to prepare them for upcoming over night field trips . Students also had Valentine cupcakes for dessert . Music was played and lights were dimmed !! They felt like royalty !
De ’ Arri Williams , aGEAR Center 4th grader , in Mrs . Giles , ELA Class , will soon be published poet . Her poem “ The Most Wonderful Time of the Year ,” was recently selected to be published in a book titled “ Creative Communications : A Celebration of Today ’ s Writers .”
