In November , the character education theme was citizenship . Students learned about ways to show others they are thankful , about taking care of their school and community , and about using polite behaviors to show respect .
Fifth-grade students are working hard to create complete simple and complex circuits .
Third-grade students are using technology to learn research skills while researching “ Georgia Habitats ”.
Doerun Elementary school held aWhite Christmas food drive and celebrated the blessing of giving with Christmas songs , and games . Teachers even built human snowmen .
