He said that he didn’ t know what was going to happen but all he could tell them was that, now, the cow business was as good as he’ s ever seen in his life.
According to a January article on the UGA Extension website,“ Beef demand remains strong despite high prices, and cattle supplies appear to be limited in the year ahead.”
The article also stated that USDA estimated that beef consumption, in 2024, increased by 59.5 lbs. per person in the U. S. This was the highest it’ s been since 2010.
