HOW WE MET
Our story began as juniors in high school. We met in math class. Alex was super quiet and I was loud and always talking. I still remember the first time I tried talking to him. He looked at me and said nothing. Well … what else could I do but run away? Eventually, he came around and we found out we had a lot more in common than we thought. I’ m not quite sure how it happened but we took a chance on each other.
THE PROPOSAL
Alex proposed after we had been together for five years. He took me to a beautiful park and we walked around for over an hour. We talked and I remember looking at the wildlife. I was looking at the water and turned around and he was down on one knee. It was just us and it was an intimate moment we will share forever.
THE DRESS
My dress was from White Weddings in Valdosta, GA. They were so nice and accommodating for my large family. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses. I wasn’ t entirely sure what I wanted but when I put my dress on I knew it was the one.
FAVORITE DETAILS
The first look was both of our favorite. During the first look, we said private vows with just us and the photographer. We were both so nervous during the day and after that we just felt so much peace.
