Kindergarten students are watching the weekly news show . The DDN . The Deer Daily News is recorded and produced by 3rd-5th grade Tech Club students each week .
Pre-K celebrated the beginning of spring by releasing butterflies in the courtyard . They watched them transform from caterpillars into butterflies in their classroom as they learned about lifecycles .
Doerun Elementary School hosted Field Day as part of our end-of-year events !
Thanks to the City of Doerun , the Doerun Police Department , Colquitt County Sheriff ’ s Office , and parents for helping with a spectacular color run ! Perseverance and giving your best will win the race both inside and outside of the classroom .
