Strolling down the walk way toward the pond , was additional seating and another huge floral arrangement . In addition to the bar in the courtyard , a second bar was situated under the pergola . Hanging on the wall behind the it was a buck , a pair of speckledbelly geese and a pair of wild turkeys . The turkeys were harvested by the bride and groom , each of them taking one , while on a hunt the previous spring . The bar was lit on both ends with antlered lamps . There were also containers filled with wedding favors bearing the wedding crest on both bars . The feature attraction of this area was two small , full bodied , piebald deer perched on a table surrounded by lounge furniture . The bars , the lounge furniture
and guest seating were rented from Teri Smith Details in Tallahassee . As we end our walk , we find the bride ’ s cake , created by Lisa ’ s Cakes of Adel , set on the porch of the Murphy House . The five tiered cake featured hand painted flowers and pheasant feathers matching the general theme of the evening .
Guests young and old danced the night away to the tunes of Derrick Dove and The Peacekeepers . Lighting and sound were provided by Lights , Sound , Action . At the end of the evening , the Groom ’ s grandfather , Senator Saxby Chambliss toasted the newlyweds wishing them many years of love and happiness . It was the most beautiful spring evening that anyone could have imagined . It was without a doubt a unique , and stunningly beautiful wedding perfectly designed for Mr . and Mrs . John Baker . They left to begin their new life together chauffeured by the Mayor in the Cadillac that brought them from the wedding ceremony . n
