THE PROPOSAL Three years later , I proposed on Tybee beach ( the place we had our first date ). I went and set up a beautiful archway and picnic on the sand . When Sam said yes , we were both so excited to plan our future together- and of course the wedding !
THE DRESS Sam went shopping for her dress at Ivory and Beau in Savannah . She worked as a stylist there in college , so she already had a clear idea of what she wanted ! Her parents , mother and grandmother in law , and friend were the best support for finding “ the one .”
FAVORITE DETAILS Our wedding was a dream for us , and they are right when they say it goes by fast . The months leading up to the big day were filled with complex planning of tablescapes , flowers , and music selection . It was the garden party that we had wanted . No matter how beautiful our wedding was , Sam was the most beautiful aspect of the entire day . We are grateful every day to have found a best friend in one another .
