“‘… And I’ m ready to go down a new road. I’ m at a crossroads in my life. I’ m ready for a new road, and I need somebody to help me.’ If you can convey that to us, you’ re going to get in. We will accept you,” Benner said.
He said the men in the program meet regularly at Life Under the Son where Bass and his people lead a
Bible study for them. On Thursdays, he said, they volunteer at The Storehouse Thrift Store.
Benner said the work they do at the organization is Christ-centered and is one-on-one because, with recovery ministry, clients must have somebody that walks with them, oneon-one, and helps them navigate their life.
