Emergency Services
The Colquitt County Volunteer No Firefighters Association provides fire prevention, suppression, rescue, and medical first responder services. With 16 strategically placed volunteer fire stations, 140 volunteers respond to over 800 fires and vehicle crashes annually. They also assist EMS with over 1,000 medical calls. Each station is funded by the county, donations and its community. The proximity to a fire station affects home insurance premiums.
