Government Mayor Bruce Norton, was first elected in 2010. The mayor is elected city-wide and serves a four-year term.
City Council meets at 6:30 p. m. on the second Tuesday of each month. Councilmen are elected at-large to four-year terms. Current councilmen are Waylon Stuckey, mayor pro tem; Clayton Sims Jr.; Sam Brown; Greg Harrell; and Sandy Hurst.
