Colquitt County / Moultrie residents are welcome . Membership fees vary on age and selected membership levels .

Purpose : To offer support , education , and advocacy for individuals living with a mental health diagnosis and for their family members and friends .
Support Meetings : NAMI Moultrie offers in person meetings the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p . m . in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church . NAMI Georgia is currently offering two support groups via Zoom . Connection Support Group is for adults in recovery , and Family Support Group is for family members . The schedule is available online at www . namiga . org .
Eligibility : NAMI events are open to the public with the exception of support groups , which are specifically for adults in recovery and for their family members .

Purpose : Service above self . Their mission is to provide service to others , promote integrity , and advance world understanding , goodwill , and peace through fellowship of business , professional , and community leaders . United Daughters of the Confederacy 323 Plymel Road Founded : 1903 Contact : Faye Bridwell , president
Purpose : To honor Confederate ancestors and their history in order to understand this era of our country ’ s formation .
Meetings : First Tuesday of the month , September
through May , at 3:30 p . m . at the Museum of Colquitt County History .
Eligibility : Any woman who can trace her genealogy to a Confederate veteran .

Purpose : The principal aim and purpose of this club is to be united in service to lift the standards of the home , family , and children in order to make better communities . It promotes the education , social , moral , and economic needs of our community . Motto : “ Lifting as We Climb ” Activities :
• Projects are selected in response to the educational , political , economic , and social needs of the community .
• An annual scholarship is given to a deserving senior at Colquitt County High School .
• They support several programs throughout the community which includes the Boys and Girls Clubs , and participate in the Colquitt County Schools ’ Annual spelling bee .
• The Women ’ s Federated Club and Southwest Georgia Bank present the Annual Birthday Celebration of Dr . Martin Luther King Jr .
Meetings : Second Monday of each month , September through May , at 6 p . m .

Members of the Women ’ s Federated Club of Moultrie cut a ribbon to symbolize the group ’ s joining the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce in 2022 . The Women ’ s Federated Club is united in service to lift the standards of the home , family , and children in order to make better communities , according to a press release from the chamber .
