• Preservation of historical buildings and monuments . History : The local chapter was founded in November 1910 . Meetings : Second Thursday in months of January ,
March , May , September and November .
Eligibility : Any woman 18 years or older , regardless of race , religion or ethnic background , who can prove her lineal descent from patriots of the American Revolution .

Purpose : To recognize and honor performers , songwriters and other music business professionals who have made a significant contribution to Georgia music or otherwise left behind a musical legacy .
Awards ceremony : The annual awards ceremony is held in November . Deadline for nominations is Aug . 1 . To apply : Application must be either emailed to shirleymaule @ aol . com or submitted via Facebook Message through Georgia Country Music Hall of Fame Facebook .
The Hall of Fame is supported by donations , a booster club and sponsors .

Purpose : A group of concerned citizens organized to motivate Colquitt Countians to take action to aid in ensuring a safe , healthy and peaceful existence for all residents .
Activities : In addition to monthly meetings , the group conducts Listen Up sessions , attends community based meetings , engages in clean-up campaigns , etc .
Meetings : Fourth Monday of each month at 6 p . m . at the Ryce Community Center . Membership is open to the public . Dues are $ 40 per year .
The Kiwanis Club of Moultrie celebrated its 100th birthday in 2022 . • Providing financial support for local campers attending Civitan Camp Big Heart in Ft . Valley , Ga .
• Financially help support the UAB Civitan International Research Center in Birmingham ,
