Established in 1947 , Sunset Country Club has three types of membership : corporate , social , and full . The only membership that excludes the golf course is the social .
The golf course is 18-holes , par-72 , that measures 6,436 yards with four sets of tees at each hole . There is also a driving range and putting green .
Sunset hosts tournaments all year round , including the Pot ‘ O ’ Gold Pro-Am tournament held the second weekend of March . This is one of the oldest and one of the few remaining tournaments of its kind in the Southeast .
There are also two swimming pools .

Main campus at 65,000 square feet Offers : indoor pool ; 6 outdoor pickle ball courts and 2 indoor ; 2 racquetball courts , indoor and outdoor basketball courts ; multiple soccer fields , weight training room , Hoist MotionCage with 12 stations ; 35-acre adventure course that includes the alpine tower , zip line , low elements , paintball course , walking and biking trails and an obstacle course .
Rooms : turf and rubberized floored Sports Performance Center ; Teen Lobby ; state licensed Childcare center for infants 6 weeks up to 4 years ; the Mary Trescot Room for active seniors and those battling cancer , Parkinson ’ s disease or Alzheimer ’ s ; 12,000-squarefoot Donald A . Blevins Gymnastics Center .
Programs for youth : soccer , basketball , and flag football leagues ; gymnastics for those as young as 1 year with the Sunbelt Shindig every September ; Primetime after-school program for those 4th grade and under at all Colquitt County elementary schools .
Programs for adults : soccer and basketball coed leagues .

Offers treadmills , ellipticals , recumbent bikes and weight training equipment including a top-of-the-line cable machine .
Pineland Location 710 28th Ave . S . E .
Hosts : 21st Century Community Learning Center , which is a federally funded program that offers students a broad array of enrichment and academic activities and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children .
Also offers child care center , food program which serves over 300 meals per day , administrative offices , lower school for Colquitt Christian Academy .
