BRAND NEW FOR 2023 , The Machine Shop will have a welding booth where you can have a FREE go at MIG , TIG or Aluminium welding – yes , you read it right , welding ! – and you can keep your welded piece as a souvenir to show off to your mates at the pub later on !
They will be doing FREE bike service demos and demonstrating just how easy it is to change your filters , oil , spark plugs as well as perform your own bike health check so you don ’ t have to throw your money away at overcharging garages anymore !
MACHINE-SHOP ’ s director Bob will also be giving useful advice on how to prep and what essential tools to bring with you when you ’ re out riding , as well as a lot of interesting tips and tricks of the trade , all based on his long background of fixing and building bikes for some big established names and brands .
BRAND NEW for 2024 , SILENCE bring the S04 Nanocar to Motorcycle Live . In a first for the show , the S04 Nanocar will be made available for visitors aged 17 + with a full driving licence , to take the fully electric car out for a 10-minute drive , checking out the drivability , ease of manoeuvre and comfortable , compact design .
With a 92-mile range and running on two 5.6kWh batteries , which can be charged either by plugging the car directly in to a three pin plug , or removed to take with you to the office , a friend ’ s house , hotel , or wherever your day takes you .
Measuring a compact 2.28m x 1.29m x 1.59m ( LxWxH ), with a 450kg weight , it may be small , easy to park and convenient for the medium – short journeys – it ’ s also safe and sturdy at the same time with space in the back for your luggage or daily groceries . The S04 Nanocar can also charge your phone – which is where you ’ ll find the dedicated app – letting you know your battery levels to ensure there ’ s never any range anxiety .

To make it even more fun , we are bringing a tyre changing machine , where ( if you can ’ t already ) you can learn to change a tyre , as well as participate in our FASTEST- TYRE-ON & OFF-CHALLENGE ! Do you think you can beat Bob ’ s current record of 16:98s ? We dare you !
