2.Airhawk or similar cushioned seat

hen people talk about air
cushion seat pads, most people
mention the Airhawk product,
although there are other makers of
similar products. It is (in my
opinion) an expensive item for
what it is. The product is basically a
plastic inflatable cushion inside of
a fabric pouch. The idea is not to
inflate it to a hard pressure, but to a
“squishy” level of firmness. The
idea is that when the rider sits on
the cushion that he (or she) moves
about on the cushion of air. I
haven’t heard from anybody who
has said that this product does not
work, and a lot of the long distance
riders use these air cushions, so
that speaks volumes. There are
several versions of the air cushion
and prices range from £50 through
to £200.
