The Saddlebag Platform .
The Platform a simple solution to supporting the bags , and a more aesthetic option than standard pannier frames . They are only available for the Ducati Scrambler and Kriega has no plans to produce them for other bikes .
Duffle - Touratech Dry Bag Moto Rack Pack , 31 Litres .
When living out of your bike luggage for weeks , I favour top-opening duffles rather than end-opening bags ; they are far more convenient for packing and finding items . The challenge with the Scrambler was finding a bag narrow enough to fit on the small pillion seat . The solution was this bag from Touratech . At 31 litres , it was the ideal size , slim with a low profile but a useable capacity . As you would expect from a Touratech / Ortlieb collaboration , the quality is excellent and it is totally waterproof . The valve - which allows air to be squeezed from the bag once it is sealed - works as advertised , but I didn ’ t find it necessary for a bag of this size , which is likely to be packed nearly full all the time given its max capacity of 30 litres .
